Welcome to Nature Park

The most famous part of the conservation center is its Crocodile Farm. Like what was said, it is a facility for breeding these animals. There is also an area where visitors could walk on a metal pathway above the crocodile enclosures giving them a nice bird's eye view of the creatures below them.

Another part of the conservation center is the Mini-Zoo. It is a hit among kids and animal lovers alike. It features several animals and birds like the civet cat, hornbill, mynah, porcupine, and others. It also features a variety of plant life that gives the mini-zoo a forest-like atmosphere. Sadly, on our visit, it was the height of the El Nino and it is very obvious that the plants are dried up and the animals are sluggish (probably conserving energy) hence I was not able to appreciate the mini-zoo.

Smile Mr. Crocodile |
What I enjoyed, however, is the photoshoot with the small crocodile in the souvenir center. Feeling its cold scales makes me appreciate more the reality of its existence. Lucky for me and my wife, we didn't feel its bite because its mouth was sealed shut. My family and I got to visit Palawan Crocodile Farm during our 5 Days in Palawan trip last 2016.

Measuring Rio |
Overall, if you're planning to visit the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, prepare to shell out P40 (subject to change) for the registration and P200 for the printing of your souvenir photo with the small crocodile. Lastly, don't forget to take a photo of the preserved skin of Rio found near the main entrance of the building. Rio is a 17-foot crocodile who was said to be at least 67 years old when it died. Rio was known for devouring a man before he was caught. Sadly, Rio died a few years after, and his skin and bones are now displayed in the conservation center.Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center Admission Fees:
You need to shell out P40 for the tour to see the crocodiles. You need to pay other fees if you want to have souvenir photos taken the the official photographer of the center.
