Located on the island of Cagraray in Bacacay in the province of Albay, Cagraray Eco-Energy Park is an eco-park that is known to offer various recreational and ecological activities to its visitors.

Cagraray Eco-Energy Park Details

Cagraray Eco-Energy Park is a project of the Eco-Trail Foundation Society, Inc in partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). The 110-hectare eco-park was the first-ever ecological park in the province.

Cagraray Eco-Energy Park offers a plethora of activities aimed at thrill-seekers, outdoorsmen, sightseers, and even pilgrims. 

Welcome to Cagraray Eco-Energy Park

Before the COVID 19 Pandemic, Cagraray Eco-Energy Park offers the following activities:
  • Wall climbing
  • Rappelling 
  • Zipline
  • Eco-Trekking
  • High Ropes Course
  • Paintball/airsoft
  • Horseback riding 
  • Swimming
  • Camping
Other activities that do not require visitors to pay extra are the following:

The Stations of the Cross are mostly covered with shrubs now
  • Pilgrimage to Stela Maris Chapel
  • Stations of the Cross
  • Sightseeing and photoshoot around the park
  • Visit the Cagraray Amphitheater
When we visited last July 2021, these activities were unavailable and the only thing to do in Cagraray Eco-Energy Park was sightseeing and photoshoots.

Even if there was nothing much to do during our visit, we still enjoyed the picturesque sights in the eco-park. The most famous of which are the Cagraray Amphitheater and the scenic view of Misibis Bay which can be viewed from either the amphitheater or on top of the hill where Stella Maris Chapel is.

Speaking of the Cagraray Amphitheater, it was featured on the fifth leg of the 4th season of the Amazing Race Asia. Of course, we didn't miss out on having our family photo taken there. We got to visit Cagraray Eco-Energy Park during the 3rd Day of our Bicol Road Trip 2021

Cagraray Eco-Tourism Park Entrance Fee:

You need to pay 25 pesos per adult and 10 pesos per child to enter Cagraray Eco-Tourism Park.

Cagraray Eco-Tourism Park is open from 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Sunday.

Why visit Cagraray Eco-Tourism Park?

Cagraray Eco-Tourism Park is one of the must-visit destinations in the municipality of Bacacay. It is also a place to visit if you fancy extreme adventures and ecological activities. Aside from that, it boasts relaxing sceneries if you're on to passive recreations. 

Getting to Cagraray Eco-Tourism Park



If you are a guest of Misibis Bay Resort, it's easy to reach Cagraray Eco-Energy Park. From Legazpi Domestic Airport, you can arrange for a resort service or ride a taxi that will bring you to Legazpi Port. From there ride a motorized boat going to Misibis Bay Port. Once in the resort, you can arrange for a tour of the eco-park.

Motorized boat travel time: 30-40 minutes

However, if you are not a guest of the resort, the only way to reach it is by taxi which is quite expensive. Another option is to drive your own vehicle going to Cagraray Exo-Tourism Park via the scenic coastal road that passes through the town of Sto. Domingo,

Travel time: 40 minutes - an hour depending on the traffic.
