Camiguin: Santo Niño Cold Springs

Found in Catarman in the Island province of Camiguin, Santo Niño Cold Springs is one of the go to places of locals and tourists who wants to escape the heat of the summer sun.

Santo Niño Cold Springs has a large and a small pool which noticeably has sparkling crystal clear waters. Locals believe that bathing for an hour or more in the refreshing waters of the pools would make your skin feel smoother and look younger.

The food sure is tasty
Aside from that you could also have some "paluto" from the several carenderias outside the resort. Afterwards, you could rent a hut inside the resort, which I believe is already part of the P40 entrance fee. Once your food is cooked, it would be delivered  personally to your hut for no extra charge. I highly suggest that you order seafood from these carenderias. Aside from its guaranteed freshness, it's cheaper than the ones that you buy in Manila.

What I love about Santo Niño Cold Springs is the small fresh water fishes that live in its pools. These little fishes would tirelessly nibble the dead skin on your body. This "fish therapy" is recommended for those with skin problems like neuro-dermatitis. In case the fishes don't follow you or nibble any part of your body, don't feel glum, maybe your skin is too clean and healthy for them. If in any case you want to experience this "fish therapy" then I suggest that you skip taking a bath for a week. These fishes would surely swarm you like what bees would do to a honey-covered boy. LOL

Airline companies offer flights to Cagayan de Oro Airport (Laguindingan Airport).
From there  ride a van to Agora Market.  From there that will bring you to the Balingoan Port in Cagayan the Oro.
van fare to Agora: P200
van fare to Balingoan Port: P150
Board a fast craft going to Benoni Port.
Fast craft fare: P550-750
From Benoni Port in Camiguin you have a variety of transportation choices. 
(It's a wise choice to haggle first before acquiring someones services.)
Motorcycle: P400-500 a day
Motorela (tricycle): P800-1000 a day
Multicab: P1500-1700 a day

In our case we had a prearranged tour. We rented a multicab to tour us around the province for two days.

Day 10 May 26, 2018 Awajishima - Naruto Whirlpools Greetings from Osaka! The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) predicted that the Kansai Region would be experiencing cloudy to fine weather today. Sadly, my wife and I did not plan anything today as we were still finalizing our plan to visit Universal Studios Japan sometime this week. Someone woke up quite early for this trip... Day 3 May 19, 2018 A Farewell to our Friends Today is another sunny day here in Japan , it is predicted that there is a 0% chance of precipitation for the whole day.
