Casa Hacienda de Tejeros - Cavite

Located in Rosario in the province of Cavite, Casa Hacienda de Tejeros is famously known as the location of the historic Tejeros Convention of 1897. Casa Hacienda de Tejeros Casa Hacienda de Tejeros history Casa Hacienda de Tejeros was originally built in the 17th century. The hacienda and its surrounding lands were formerly owned by the Augustinian Recollects. The estate was once the largest and grandest estate in the country. It once covered as much as 1,125 hectares with the casa occupying 4 hectares of it. Casa Hacienda de Tejeros - Rosario, Cavite The NHI Marker of the Casa Hacienda de Tejeros The name tejeros came from the Spanish name tejer , which means "to weave". It's due to the fact that the weaving industry is one of the major industries of the municipality of Rosario. Going back to its historical importance, Casa Hacienda de Tejeros played an important role in 1897 when it hosted the assembly that the new leaders of the revolution were elected.

Hermano Pule Shrine - Quezon

Located on a roadside outside the town of Lucban in the province of Quezon, Hermano Pule Shrine is a monument/shrine erected in remembrance of a Filipino hero that is also a son of the province. Hermano Pule Shrine Hermano Pule Shrine Details Hermano Pule  also Hermano Puli or Brother Pule in English was born on July 22, 1814, in the town of Lucban in what was still called the province of Tayabas (now Quezon). His real name was Apolinario de la Cruz. He was very religious and charismatic. Sadly, being a native during the Spanish Colonial Era would mean that being a priest was a bad choice. It was during this time that secularization was a big issue. Natives were not trusted by their Spanish counterparts hence, they were not given significant positions in any parishes. Located in the city of Gifu in Gifu Prefecture, Gifu Castle ( 岐阜城 )  is a mountaintop castle that stands as one of the symbols of the city.  Gifu Castle  ( 岐阜城 ) Gifu Castle History Built by the Nikaido Clan during the Kamakura Period sometime between 1201 to 1204, Gifu Castle was once called Inabayama Castle by its original owners. It was a formidable castle which overlooks the surrounding countryside of then Mino Province. As a matter of fact, there are a plethora of different things to collect here that are catered to every collector's unique taste and preference.  Anime fans have their usual toys, mangas, and memorabilia. Japan Diaries 2: Day 3

Day 3 May 19, 2018 A Farewell to our Friends Today is another sunny day here in Japan , it is predicted that there is a 0% chance of precipitation for the whole day. However, ironically, there is a high percentage of "tear fall" due to the fact that our Filipino friends are flying back home. Gotta love this kind of weather Hello again! Kansai International Airport Thank God I won't be flying back home today. I truly feel that they were fun people. Although we only spent two full days together, I would surely miss those late night chats with Marlon and Erika and the witty intellect of their children. Well, life has to move on, so w e drove them to Kansai International Airport around 10AM. While on the road, Mr. Toshi's Toyota Estima was showing signs that there was a problem with its battery. Japan Diaries 3: Day 3

Day 3 December 21, 2019 Exploring Nara Good morning guys! Today is the 3rd day of our 2019 Japan Adventure . For today's itinerary, we're off to explore Nara City in Nara Prefecture.  Off to Nara! Waiting for our train to Nara Station The train was slow and crowded thank God we managed to get a seat. Since Nara City is about 40+ kilometers away, we woke up early to catch the earliest train we could going to Nara Station . This is to avoid joining the potential influx of tourists heading to Nara City on this beautiful Saturday morning.   We got a tip from the train operator on board. She said we should board down at Uji and transfer to the much faster express train... All aboard at Kintetsu Limited Express to Nara Station There was plenty of room on the train for me to pose and get that souvenir photo. Day 16  June 1 , 2018 Gifu - Nagano Road Trip Day 2 A pleasant morning to you my dear reader, today is the second day of our Gifu -Nagano Trip. It is also our 16th day in the  Land of the Rising Sun . Early morning Onsen dip at Honjin Hiranoya Bekkan Today, we plan to explore Takayama City in the morning and then Kamikochi in the afternoon. However, before everything else, I made sure to wake up very early to take one final dip at Honjin Hiranoya Bekkan 's onsen because I know that I won't have a chance to do it later as we'd only eat our complimentary breakfast before finally checking out of our ryokan.  Strictly NO TATTOOs! Nijo Castle Revisited 2019 - Kyoto

Located in Kyoto City in Kyoto Prefecture, Nijo Castle  ( 二条城 ) is one of the most famous landmarks of Kyoto City. As of this writing, this castle already has more than 23,000 reviews on Google Maps plus more than 130 thousand photos from thousands of tourists who visited it.  Nijo Castle  ( 二条城 ) I have been lucky to have visited Nijo Castle twice already. The first was last 2018 and the latest was during the 2nd day of our 2019 Japan trip . During our first visit, my wife, daughter, and I only managed to visit the Ninomaru Palace and parts of the Ninomaru Garden as we were set to meet a friend that day.
