Concepcion Church was built in 1880 under the supervision of Father Guillermo Masnou. The original church has a Baroque style of architecture but was then renovated to its present Neo-Romanesque style in 1893 under the supervision of Father Fernando Vasquez.

Concepcion Church facade is obviously made of the usual mortar, gravel, cement, wood, steel, and concrete. However, the additional red bricks add more appeal to the exterior of the church. Its two three-tiered bell towers that ride on both sides of the facade also add symmetry to the church.

It's FREE to explore the church and its vicinity, however, some people charge parking fees in the parking spaces near the church.
Why visit Concepcion Church?
Concepcion Church is a nice place for a stopover if you're just passing by Tarlac. It has a nice facade and interior worth seeing. It's a must-visit if you're doing a Visita Iglesia across the province of Tarlac. You could also visit the nearby Aquino's Ancestral House which is only a few blocks away from the church. Getting to Concepcion Church:
Go to the Pasay or Cubao terminal of the Five Star Bus lines. from there you may ride a bus that goes direct to Concepcion, Tarlac. Fare is around P160 - P180.
