Day 215: June 4, 2022

Saturday - Reuke Farm and Golden Beach

It's a weekend once again. It's also a sunny warm Saturday morning. What better way to spend it than walking around Rumoi City. To make this day memorable, my family and I decided to go somewhere I haven't been to yet. Hence, we'd be going to Reuke Farm.

On the way to Reuke Farm, we passed by Miharashi Park. We didn't miss the chance to spend time in its playground. Ella seems to have enjoyed her time in the park.

We made a brief visit to Rumoi Shrine...

... then Hokokuji

We then proceeded on our way, stopping briefly at Rumoi Shrine. Before we went to the adjacent Hokokuji, I said a quick prayer and wished for something very personal.

From there, we continued on to 711 Okimichio on Route 231 of the Ororon Line near Golden Beach Rumoi. We bought our favorite 711 coffee and some snacks for breakfast.

After our coffee break, we continued on Route 231 south to Mashike but stopped at the roadside lavatory near the beach. We stayed for a bit to enjoy the view.

Reuke Farm

We had to travel another thirty minutes to get to Reuke Farm, which is perched on a cliff. Reuke Farm is renowned for its wind farms, breathtaking beach views, delectable soft cream, and the blossoming frame from late May to early June.

...and also the view from Torimu Restaurant 


We had a great day photographing the wide golden rapeseed flower fields. Apart from that, we had soft cream at Torimu Restaurant (礼受牧場 トリム). 



It's time to head back home

On our way home, we revisited and enjoyed the warmth of the sand of Golden Beach Rumoi

It was a long walk home, but it was well worth it. We returned to the shore and strolled down the sand.

We stopped at COOP for groceries before heading home since Ella had requested yakiniku for supper, which we gladly provided.

Overall, we had another amazing day here in Rumoi. We got to visit new places and most of all, had a perfect dayender in the form of the sumptuous yakiniku dinner.

Casa Hacienda de Tejeros - Cavite

Located in Rosario in the province of Cavite, Casa Hacienda de Tejeros is famously known as the location of the historic Tejeros Convention of 1897. Casa Hacienda de Tejeros Casa Hacienda de Tejeros history Casa Hacienda de Tejeros was originally built in the 17th century. The hacienda and its surrounding lands were formerly owned by the Augustinian Recollects. The estate was once the largest and grandest estate in the country. It once covered as much as 1,125 hectares with the casa occupying 4 hectares of it. Casa Hacienda de Tejeros - Rosario, Cavite The NHI Marker of the Casa Hacienda de Tejeros The name tejeros came from the Spanish name tejer , which means "to weave". It's due to the fact that the weaving industry is one of the major industries of the municipality of Rosario. Going back to its historical importance, Casa Hacienda de Tejeros played an important role in 1897 when it hosted the assembly that the new leaders of the revolution were elected.

Bonifacio Shrine in Indang - Cavite

Located in Barangay Limbon, Indang in the province of Cavite, the Bonifacio Shrine of Indang is one of the historical landmarks dedicated to the Father of the Philippine Revolution -Andres Bonifacio.  Bonifacio Shrine of Indang Bonifacio Shrine in Indang History Bonifacio Shrine in Indang marks the location of the nipa hut where Andres Bonifacio was seized and captured by the soldiers of his political rival and fellow revolutionary Emilio Aguinaldo in 1897. Jigokudani - Hokkaido

Jigokudani ( 登別地獄谷 ) or Hell Valley in English is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Noboribetsu City. Agusan Del Sur: Bunawan Ecopark and Wildlife Reservation Center

Found in Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan in the province of Agusan Del Sur, Bunawan Ecopark and Wildlife Reservation Center became famous for its world known centerpiece exhibit. Bunawan arc That exhibit is named Lolong , the world's longest salt water crocodile ever caught. Lolong was captured in Bunawan Creek, a part of the vast Agusan Marsh on September 3, 2011. Lolong In November of the same year, an Australian crocodile expert from the National geographic measured Lolong and confirmed that the crocodile was indeed the longest ever caught. the enormous Lolong measured 20 feet and 24 inches from snout to tail beating the Australian croc named Cassius which formerly holds the said title. Daisetsuzan National Park ( 大雪山国立公園 ) spans 2,267 square kilometers and encompasses 16 peaks, offering diverse trails, abundant wildlife, and alpine flora. This is the largest national park in Hokkaido, Japan . This vast park covers parts of Kitami City, Asahikawa City, Furano City, and the towns of Higashikawa, Kamifurano, Minamifurano, and Kamishihoro.
