My family and I stayed in Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa last August 21, 2022, which was the 3rd day of our "From Osaka with Love" road trip with our Japanese family. During our stay, we enjoyed its food a lot. They prepared a plethora of dishes which are all worth trying. Aside from that we also loved its onsen area. Mr. Toshi, Ryo, and I tried each onsen. What’s more memorable about that is that Mr. Toshi would explain what is special about each onsen and their health benefits. Hence, it’s like an onsen educational tour. Well, I enjoyed that a lot. Getting to Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa
To travel from Shin Chitose Airport to Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa, follow these steps for a smoother journey:
- Upon arrival at Shin Chitose Airport, make your way to the New Chitose Airport Limousine Bus terminal.
- Purchase a ticket for the airport bus heading to Minami Chitose Eki (Minami Chitose Station).
- Board the airport bus and enjoy the ride until you reach Minami Chitose Eki bus stop.
- Alight at Minami Chitose Eki bus stop and proceed to Minami Chitose Eki Station on foot.
- At Minami Chitose Eki Station, locate the platform for the Hokuto 16 Limited Express Hakodate train.
- Board the Hokuto 16 Limited Express Hakodate train and remain on it until you reach Datemombetsu Station.
- Disembark the train at Datemombetsu Station and exit the station.
- Walk to the Date Eki Mae bus stop, where you can find the buses operated by the Donan Bus Company.
- Look for the Otaki East Housing Complex (via Sobetsu) bus provided by the Donan Bus Company and board it.
- Ride the bus until you reach the 白絹の床 (Shirakinunotoko) bus stop and alight there.
- Once you get off the bus, Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa is just 260 meters away from the bus stop. You can reach it by walking a short distance.
