Day 315: September 12, 2022

Monday - Rumoi

It's another Monday. It only means one thing, I'm heading back to Rumoi High School.

1st period - Neighbor's Day @ 3-35 of Matsuda-sensei
3rd period - Neighbor's Day @3-46 of Matsuda-sensei
5th period - Listening Activity @3-11 of Matsuda-sensei

After classes, I trained Raimu-kun and Nodoka-chan for their speech competition.  Mugi-chan wasn't available today as she was taking an exam. I was happy to see improvements in just a day. I'm looking forward to seeing them tomorrow. 

Day 316: September 13, 2022

Tuesday - Rumoi

It's a sunny morning here in Rumoi City. Today, I'll be reporting again to Rumoi High School.

Training the English Club members for the speech competition

Like yesterday, I trained the contestants for the upcoming speech competition before going home.

When I got home, my family and I drove to Japan Post (JP) Rumoi Office to pick up an undelivered package. This turned out to be the 5000 yen gift cheque given by the local government to those who applied for the My Number Card. 

We bought some unique colored peppers from COOP

I attended the Rumoi English Chat Club at Asuka

From there, we did a quick grocery shopping at COOP before I biked to Asuka for my bi-weekly Rumoi English Chat Club. Our topic for today is "Autumn". 


Day 317: September 14, 2022

Wednesday - Rumoi

Unlike in the past few days, it's exceptionally cold today. Well, it's probably because it's almost autumn. Since I didn't have any visit schools today, I will be reporting to Rumoi High School again.

Like in the past few days, I spent the afternoon training the contestants for the speech contest. Overall, I'm getting more excited by the day as our contestants are continuously improving by the day. I can see their confidence, especially Mugi-chan.


Day 318: September 15, 2022

Thursday - Embetsu

I'm off to Embetsu Agricultural High School today. This is my 15th visit here for the academic year 2022-2023. I'm utilizing my 2-day Moekko Free Ticket for this trip.

I joined the teachers and students who were heading to Embetsu Junior High School for the Music Appreciation Activity after lessons. I finally got to meet Embetsu ALT Cameron Barker for the first time here.

Day 319: September 16, 2022

Friday - Tomamae

TGIF! I'm off to Tomamae Commercial High School today. It's my 16th visit for the school year 2022-2023. For this trip, I used my 2-day Moekko Free Ticket.

2nd period - Listening Exam @2nd year and Elective of Hasegawa-sensei
3rd period - Listening Exam @ 1st and 3rd year of Hasegawa-sensei

When I got home, My wife and I spent the night finalizing our itinerary for the upcoming long weekend road trip. Overall, this week has been a bit busy but it's worth it as I'll be having a long back-to-back weekend starting this weekend.

In summary, I visited Rumoi High School, Embetsu Agricultural High School, and Tomamae Commercial High School this week.

Located in Rosario in the province of Cavite, Casa Hacienda de Tejeros is famously known as the location of the historic Tejeros Convention of 1897. The hacienda and its surrounding lands were formerly owned by the Augustinian Recollects. The estate was once the largest and grandest estate in the country. Bonifacio Shrine in Indang - Cavite

Daisetsuzan National Park ( 大雪山国立公園 ) spans 2,267 square kilometers and encompasses 16 peaks, offering diverse trails, abundant wildlife, and alpine flora. Agusan Del Sur: Bunawan Ecopark and Wildlife Reservation Center

Found in Barangay Consuelo, Bunawan in the province of Agusan Del Sur, Bunawan Ecopark and Wildlife Reservation Center became famous for its world known centerpiece exhibit. Bunawan arc That exhibit is named Lolong , the world's longest salt water crocodile ever caught. Lolong was captured in Bunawan Creek, a part of the vast Agusan Marsh on September 3, 2011. Lolong In November of the same year, an Australian crocodile expert from the National geographic measured Lolong and confirmed that the crocodile was indeed the longest ever caught. the enormous Lolong measured 20 feet and 24 inches from snout to tail beating the Australian croc named Cassius which formerly holds the said title.
