My family and I visited Taiyo no Oka Engaru Park last September 18, 2022, during our September 17-19 Road Trip. It was my 321st day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. The park was one of the highlights of our trip for the day. Although we only had a limited time to explore the park, every moment spent wandering the vast grounds was awe-inspiring. Had we been given more time, we could have easily spent the entire day admiring every corner of this picturesque park. Despite our short visit, we left feeling revitalized by the serene environment and promising to return next year. With an already impressive display of flora, we cannot wait to witness the park's moss phlox in full bloom.
