My family and I visited Shinotsu Park last October 8, 2022. It was the first day of our 3-day “October 8-10” Road TripIt was my 341st day in Japan as an ALT under the JET ProgrammeOur original plan was to just visit the Shinshinotsu Roadside Station which is part of our goal of visiting all the roadside stations of Hokkaido. However, the unique-looking observation deck in the middle of the park caught our attention. Hence, we were able to explore parts of the park and enjoy it. The campsite was also worth checking out. Had we not reserved our accommodation for the day we would have probably stayed here.
