Although my family and I would usually pass by Hotel Kamuiwa whenever we visit Kamuiwa Park, it was only last December 9, 2022, when we first visited it to try its famed onsen. It was my 403rd day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme.

In my opinion, the facility should already undergo renovation as it is already evidently aging. It’s also a way to attract more tourists, which is the lifeblood of the business. Regardless, I would still highly recommend Hotel Kamuiwa because it’s the lone onsen facility in Rumoi City and because its onsen has relaxing properties.
