Team Nicerio visits Kurashiki Denim Street
On December 25, 2022, my family and I had the opportunity to visit and explore Kurashiki Denim Street for the first time during our 3-day Hiroshima Road Trip with our Japanese family. This trip marked my 419th day in Japan as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) participating in the JET Programme. It was one of the places that we visited during our short side trip to the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. I wanted to buy some denim for myself but they all looked very fashionable to me. It gave me a hard time choosing which one and since we were pressed for time, I wasn’t able to avail one. Regardless, it only meant that we had a reason to revisit Kurashiki Denim Street in the future.
Kurashiki Denim Street Fees
It’s FREE to explore Kurashiki Denim Street but make sure to bring cash in case you want to buy some of the fashionable denim products. If you are on a budget, then why not try denim-themed food instead like the "Denim Soft" (400 yen) and "Denim Man" (380 yen).
