Kumatori (熊取町) is one of the towns of Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Kumatori was founded in 1889 and became a town on November 3, 1951. The town is historically known for its textile production, particularly cotton cloth. The kanji used for its name kuma () means bear and shu / toru () means to take or acquire.

For those planning to visit this leaf-shaped town to check what it has to offer, here are the 10 Things to Do in Kumatori:

1. Take a picture of Kumatori's manhole covers. So far, I have seen 1 unique manhole cover. It’s common around the town but the colored version of it is installed near Kumatori Station. However, during my recent visit, I saw numerous 70th-anniversary special edition manhole covers installed around Kumatori Station. So far, I have seen 5 different designs.
