What I love about traveling, aside from seeing new places and experiencing new cultures, are the opportunities that I get to meet new people. It's also a great way for me to promote my country to other people.  One Fine Day in Tagaytay Last September 2019, I was lucky enough to be sent to Singapore for the five-day Google Innovator Program . I met tons of amazing people in the said event and got quite close to some of them. One of them was Sophie Tai who is an awesome Googler based in Taiwan.  Sophie and Paola during our Google x Singapore 2019 stint Since she frequently hangs out with us team QSR guys, she kinda became our adopted member and a part of our "gang". During one of our chats, we happened to talk about the beauty of the Philippines . She opened up that she's actually planning to visit this 2019 or early next year. I have come up with a series of budget day tour itineraries that is aimed to maximize your visit to a specific place in the Philippines without having to break your bank. For today's itinerary, I'm featuring a Tagaytay by car itinerary.  Tagaytay City Day Tour Itinerary Disclaimer: 1. Transportation from your accommodation going to Tagaytay City is not included in this itinerary. 2. The accommodation budget is also not included. 3. The itineraries start at 8AM as most destinations open at 9AM. 4.  The exploration time in a place is pegged at an hour per destination. However, you may opt to cut it shorter or stay longer.  5.  It is also assumed that you are traveling light. Tagaytay City Day Tour Itinerary Tagaytay City By Car Course 8AM   Arrival at Tagaytay City .   8:15AM   Drive to Starbucks at Tagaytay-Calamba Road. Purchase coffee and something to eat for breakfast.  

It has been more than a year since our last family out-of-town trip to Boracay Island . The COVID 19 pandemic lockdown forced not only us but basically every Filipino to stay home and be hopeful that everything will be well soon. Aside from that, it also affected the tourism industry with the closure of numerous hotels and restaurants.  Cuenca - Taal Road Trip 2021 That's why when the government allowed local travel, my wife, daughter, and I took the opportunity to help local tourism and at the same time go on our first family out-of-town road trip for the year. For this trip, we drove to the province of Batangas for our 2-day adventure in what I dubbed as Cuenca-Taal Road Trip 2021 .
